This week we focused on making good choices for us and for others. As you can see from our brainstorm, we had so many fantastic ideas of how this would look in our classroom and the school. We all worked hard at making sure we showed this focus, and Room 16 were veritable PB4L superstars!
Thanks so much to everyone who came along to this week's Parent-Teacher conferences. It was great to be able to discuss and share your children's learning with you. If you missed out, don't panic! Feel free to email Mr Woodfield to make a time to catch up.
Parent Teacher Conferences for Term 3 will be on Thursday August 20th, in Week 5. Please make sure you have booked a time, and also please note that school will finish at 1pm that day. Ultimate Kidz will not be available until 3pm that day, so please make sure you have made alternate arrangements, if necessary, and have let the school know via the notice that has been sent home.
This week we have been focused on persuasive writing. We read together two stories from Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes (Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs) and then wrote a persuasive opinion. We bookended our paragaraph with an opinion, and filled up between them with one or two reasons and specific examples. Make sure to drop into the classroom and read our many fantastic persausive pieces on our Writing Wall!
